Deborah Lippmann - Lady Sings the Blues

And boy did this polish give me the blues trying to get an accurate picture! My camera really does suck. Big time. Well both of my cameras do. I use a Casio and a Nikon, and I am definitely in the market for something else. Back to the polish though---I want to call this a deep navy, iridescent, jelly-like polish, and I see where Deborah was going with this one, but the opacity of the dark blue drowns the glitter. There is glitter galore here, both hexagonal and micro-fine, and it looks pretty in the bottle, but gave me a heck of a fight upon application. I had to use a lot of toothpick fixes to get the glitter to the right place. All things considered, the formula and drying time is as excellent as always, so no complaints there. Out of the All That Jazz trio, I prefer Razzle Dazzle. Next I'll swatch Some Enchanted Evening, but it's quite sheer, so I'll most likely layer it over another color. Enjoy!

Beautiful!! It's still in my untrieds and from the looks of it from your picture I just had on Claire's chunky blue looks like a close dupe :)

I am an unabashed lover of nail polish. I make no excuses for my flights of fancy over the latest colors and nail art trends. I know that the people who find this blog are probably just like me. I love gadgets, being somewhat of a nerd. I am a systems administrator that may get caught polishing my nails amongst the server racks. A geek-girl with a nail polish obsession---who would've thought it?
