First Nail Art With Chez-Delaney Plate!

Whew!! So I tried to do a bit of nail art with a "Fauxnad" stamp---meaning not Konad, but better!! I think it came out pretty well for a first-time. Of course I agonized over what I would do to my nails for my first post. So, I tried to pay homage to my blog design! Okay, don't laugh!! I used NYX Girls Robotic and then stamped with China Glaze 2030. The NYX Girls polish gave me grief, but that was my fault because I was in a hurry. It settled to a beautiful deep blue, with tiny silver sparkles. Too bad my pictures did a horrible job at capturing the blue goodness. The China Glaze 2030 was perfect for stamping, I let it sit for just a bit (and by a bit, I mean a lil little bit!) and then scraped and stamped. I used plate H27 which came from Chez Delaney. Now, I fashion myself to be a perfectionist---I think I'm going to rethink this in light of my stamping technique. I don't think I'm very good at this quite yet! First, you have to be QUICK! And determined. And prepared. I was none-of-that! All I will say is that this post right here by Michele at Lacquerized saved me. I regrouped and tried again. How did I do?

Who's Asking?

My Photo
I am an unabashed lover of nail polish. I make no excuses for my flights of fancy over the latest colors and nail art trends. I know that the people who find this blog are probably just like me. I love gadgets, being somewhat of a nerd. I am a systems administrator that may get caught polishing my nails amongst the server racks. A geek-girl with a nail polish obsession---who would've thought it?
